Janathon 2017 Day 24 – Back to the gym

Janathon 2017 day 54I’ve not been to the gym in over a week and a half. So this week I am hoping to visit it at least twice! Three times if I can push it! I ran just over a mile uphill outside from the station home. Sat and chatted with Dad and had dinner. Then I got myself up and changed to go to the gym. Pure Gym. It’s located approximately between where I’m staying now, and where I have just moved from. But for some reason, going there from this direction seems a little longer and out of the way. Luckily there was no ice on the car, I just had to wait a little while the steamy windows cleared up.

The gym was still quite busy when I got there. I started off on the treadmill. 2 minutes warmup and then alternating running and walking for a minute each… the running pace started off at 9.0 km per hour and then increased to 10.0 km per hour. That’s interval training isn’t it? Or is it a tempo run.  I also did 5 minutes on the rowing machine too.

I’m starting to fall asleep whilst typing this, so I will sign off now.

      Thanks … you’re right! Not easy at all! But I’m enjoying it so that makes up for it. The blogging bit adds to it too! I’m sure there’s typos and missing words lol
