Janathon 2017 Day 21 – Chilly Parkrun
It was a very chilly -2°C this morning. But there were was a great turnout at Parkrun today. There were a total of 263 runners, and 47 of them were first timers! That’s amazing for them to come out on a cold day like it was. I said to someone last week, if you can come out on a cold day like this, there is no excuse to not come every week! 🙂 Most have fun, and do come back!
It was definitely cold though. What a way to end week 3 of Janathon. I wore my running jacket with a hat, hood and gloves. Long tights were also necessary today. I had a good run, and I had no need to stop at all along the way, today. Coming in at 34m 14s, I was nowhere near my PB time – which is over a minute away. I keep trying. And it is fun to take part every week.
Todays total: 5.0 km (3.1 miles)
Janathon Total: 106.10 km (65.8 miles)
