Janathon 2017 Day 17 – A proper long run

Janathon 2017 Day 17 – A proper long run

Janathon 2017 Day 17 - Finally a proper long runI’m all moved now, and I was able to sleep in my bed again.  I was also able to have a well earned lie-in!  Love my sleep, I do.  There is still a load of boxes of my stuff around – but there is little point sorting this out until the sale goes through.  I spent some of the time sorting the boxes to make way to move up and down easily.

Then I set off for my long run.  It didn’t seem that cold.  The sky was clear and blue though!  It was perfect running weather. I kept a steady pace, and enjoyed my run until I got to the base of Stocking Stone hill and proceeded to run up it.  I was going so well, I managed to run half way up it, but then had to stop and walk it a bit.  It’s quite a steep hill, and one day I WILL run all the way to the top of it.

P.S.  Sorry if you came to my blog earlier today.  It was down for over 6 hours! I couldn’t do anything about it!

Todays total: 14.45 km (8.9 miles)
Janathon Total: 89.31 km (55.5 miles)
